Thank Rafa that he skipped Halle. If he had played it then Roger would have still been titleless this year
He probably wouldn't even have reached the final. Only did it once in his career in grass tournament other than Wimbledon in 2008.

Poor nadal was tired. It sure didn't look like it in any of the 45 matches he played this year and specially the FO final after a 5 sets semis.

I think nadal doesn't get tired anymore.

He played many more matches than Djokovic or Roger despite missing the AO. some career threatening injury he must have had to play this type of schedule, spartan indeed. I would even say superhuman.

Like he did last year?

Halle is fast grass. Rafa hates fast grass.

Since he was well rested for 7 months,it's not impossible to play 45 matches on the trot.Yeah it's not easy but it's manageable.

LOL you are bringing up the FO final?

Rafa can beat Ferrer even on one leg. Also since FO is his most successful slam it's only natural that he gives it his best shot.

So,you are basing your predictions on Last year's performance?

So,i guess then Roger is a lock for winning this year's wimbledon as he had won it last year too.

He gives little effort at these warm-ups, look who he's lost to in recent years - Kohlschreiber, Tsonga, Lopez, Mahut.

What the fuck does the surface matter? Federer plays an indoor event in Switzerland that he does well at, doesn't make his appearance there any lesser. The point is he already plays plenty in Spain. Publicly complaining about a Nadal non-appearance in Valencia is pathetic whining by their organizers, especially when they already have a top five Spaniard from the SAME PROVINCE as the tournament playing.

And Djokovic wouldn't have come back to Madrid on blue clay either. The surface had no place in the middle of the red clay season. Imagine the reaction of grass courters if Queens or Halle made a gimmicky change into a slow and high bouncing red grass surface in the middle of the grass season.

Almagro | Coria | Ferrer | Haas | Nalbandian | Nishikori | Robredo | Wawrinka
Bautista Agut | Bellucci | Blake | Dimitrov | Dodig | Ferrero | Fognini | Gasquet | Hewitt | Kohlschreiber | Murray | Raonic | Rosol | Seppi | Tsonga | Tursunov | Verdasco
