Re: Murray has no fear of meeting Nadal in Wimbledon last eight

People in all sports have an over-optimistic view of the likelihood of their own success. It is really a neccessary illusion, because a positive attitude genuinely helps their standard of play.

On the other hand, as an observer you have to cut through that. I am a Murray fan, and not a Nadal fan, but I have to admit that Nadal is the worst match-up for Andy at Wimbledon this year, and I would heavily favour Rafa. That's not to say that it wouldn't be an interesting match. Murray-Nadal or Djokovic-Nadal are the only matches Rafa will have to worry about this year, in my opinion (other than early-round servebot/ballbasher issues).

Re: Murray has no fear of meeting Nadal in Wimbledon last eight

I highly doubt Andy will win another slam. He was so distraught over not winning the first 4 slams, that winning one became his career goal. Now that he has it, he might not have the motivation to win another.

It could rather as well fuel his motivation even more knowing that after so many tries, he finally won one. He's at his all time high at the moment, so we never know what can happen.

lol sure. is that why "slamray" got bent over by Gymnast in the very next slam meeting? Let's not forget the feather incident too. You'd think a super confident player wouldn't blame something like that for a loss.

Nadal is nowhere as good as he used to be. I wouldn't be worried about facing him off clay anymore. Andy'll be fine, although it would be pretty bad luck if he were to draw him for a quarter-final. Best of the players ranked 5-8.

Sheeplebuster continuing his butthurt hating of Murray, no surprises there

Are you for real? He'll have no motivation to win another slam? Think before you post, you fool

the only player he has a chance against in the top 4 is a 31 year old declinerer, even ferrer on a good day can out-push this mug

I wonder what was he supposed to say not to create shitstorm on MTF once again. If he is not afraid=idiot, afraid=pussy.

The game bores me now

Ferrer has zero chance of beating Murray in a non-clay Slam tournament.

Rafa would be the favourite but Murray is much improved.

As much as I despise Nadull...Pushray has no chance against Nadull on clay. Nadull will moonball Pushray off the court in 3 easy sets.
