A major breakthrough for Nadal?

On Friday, Rafael Nadal won the coin toss. He elected to receive first - and he won the match.

Today, he won the coin toss yet again, chose to receive first - and won the match.

My question is a simple one: has Rafael Nadal finally mastered the intricacies of the coin toss? And if so, do you believe his seven month layoff has been crucial in the sense that he has been able to dedicate himself fully to observing, understanding and manipulating the causal relationship extant between coin toss and tennis match? Furthermore, how exactly do you presume Nadal has gone about improving his skills in this particular area?

As always: Rafa respect the coin. Is difficult, no? Is a great coin and can do all the flip. Just try hard. Work hard. Fight all the time. Never give up. But is a flip, no? Sometimes win. Sometimes lose.

Nadal should always choose to serve first. His serve is good enough to hold straight away. I can't count the number of times when he choked serving at 4-5 and 5-6

He likes serving after the change.

Anyway, you don't think the OP was really serious do you?

In every moment he has to fight and run and be humble and that is how he won.

I think he practiced coin toss in every condition and humidity and figured out which side is likely to fall in which condition with accuracy of 94,8%

Re: A major breakthrough for Nadal?

shouldn't you always receive first because if you start slowly you don't lose your serve?

On Murray
