If Novak is playing well enough and is strong enough to beat Rafa in 5 sets, Federer would not stand a chance. Maybe a red hot for Ferrer, playing like he did on Madrid, that could be a great match. Federer is just not consistent enough to beat a fit Novak, playing well right now. The only thing that fedfans can hope for is that they blow themselves out in the semis.

We all know the real final will be in the semifinals anyway.

Re: Who will be the finalist from the bottom half?

Assuming Nadal makes the final on the top half, tennis needs Tsonga or Gulbis in the final. Nadal vs Federer, Nadal vs Berdych or Nadal vs Ferrer potential finals don't even need to be played...

If it's Djokovic, then Federer, Tsonga or Gulbis, maybe even Berdych. Monfils in both scenarios too.

MTF games titles:

Suicide Tennis (5): Wimbledon 2014, World Tour Finals 2015, Madrid 2015, Kuala Lumpur 2014 and Metz 2015 - 1 Slam, 1 WTF, 1 Masters 1000, 2 ATP 250; 2 finals lost

Fill-in-the-Draw (3): US Open 2014, Rotterdam 2013 and Geneva 2015 - 1 Slam, 1 ATP 500 and 1 ATP 250

Tennis Tipping (3): Veneza and Todi 2014 (with vn01), Knoxville 2015 (with Redkop) - 3 challengers; 7 finals lost

Very true. I won't even bother watching it if it's another Rafa-Turkey final.

Re: Who will be the finalist from the bottom half?

Tsonga is not a clay player and one match against Djokovic does mean nothing.

The underdog will come through (Fed) to face the winner of the real final in the semis.

Re: Who will be the finalist from the bottom half?

most likely Roger

Rafa! Rafa! Rafa!

Epic movies, like brokeback mountain, are seldom found in the industry or worthy for the mainstream viewer. As often as I have watched the clips of this movie, I always find something more to it. For one, the gay stuff doesn't enter the picture for me, only the dimension of the highest love I have ever witnessed in life or on film.

Exactly. Berdych never beat Fed on clay, even on this blue shit in Madrid he choked. His record in RG is pathetic, only 1 semifinal in all years and several 1st round exits including embarrasing loss to Robert 2 years ago.It is even questionable if Berdych survives 1st week in Paris.

Federer on the other hand got almost perfect draw.No Nadal or Djoko or Murray or Del Potro on his side of draw, what more can you want on clay ?

It would be embarrassing not to reach into final with this draw.It may be his last realistic chance to play RG final, he is not getting any younger or better in next years. And if he plays vs tired Djokovic in final, who knows , perhaps he can even win it .

My prediction is : Fed to reach into final from bottom half.
