It's clay. It's bizarre how people can vote Berdych, Tsonga and the like.

If I had to bet, I'd go with Federer. But it's not written in stone.

Maybe because those two have gotten far in this tournament before?

Tsonga had 4 MP to upset Djokovic in quarters last year, so don't see anything wild in this prediction.

Re: Who will be the finalist from the bottom half?

I don't really understand why Tsonga has so many votes. He's 7/3 on clay this season. Lost to Janowicz and Wawrinka recently. Had close matches against Haase and Verdasco.

I also can't grasp how on Earth did Federer get half of the votes here. He's not in his top form. He's old. He's lost both times when facing a player who's in the top 15.

Almagro has lost 3 of his last 4 matches during the last 30 days and the one he did win was against a player who retired.

Ferrer and Berdych should have more votes than they do now.

Maybe because Berdych reached his first GS SF at RG?

You can't? If Tsonga reaches the QF he will play Federer and even if Fed's form is poor I'd bet on Roger in that match... this being on clay and all. And even if he did beat Fed, Tsonga would have maybe 50% against Berdych and 40% vs Ferrer. A lot of things have to go the Frenchman's way if he's gonna get a place in the final.
