This is definitely 15/10 on the scale of having no clue. I personally voted Berdych, as I think he can beat Ferrer provided he negotiates the first few rounds well. He's also going to have a good chance against an out-of-sorts Fed (if he's indeed like that) and still a decent one against an in-form Fed.

I strongly dislike Berdych, but if he gets through a Monfils/Gulbis/Robredo/Almagro/Ferrer/Federer draw he will have my eternal respect. I just can't see it happening, in every one of those matches he has a more than realistic shot of getting eliminated, yet alone surviving them all.

Re: Who will be the finalist from the bottom half?

I really hope it will be Tsonga, because with the crazy crowd support he would have he could actualy make the final competitive... and even memorable, which has not been seen for a VERY long time at RG (maybe Agassi-Medvedev, though even this one I didn't like).

However given the current form of each player Ferrer looks the most likely finalist. I would put Federer in 2nd, since even though it is a 50/50 against Tsonga Jo would have a much harder time dealing with Ferrer and the pressure. As for Berdych/Gulbis, given their horrible draw I don't think either will have enough in the tank to beat David in QF. I wish I were wrong though

OK, but you put Gulbis ahead of Berdych and Federer. I can't see how he's more likely to make the final than either of the two.

Everything else may be a matter of opinion but Gulbis is far too volatile to be put as 2nd likeliest to make a GS final.

In all fairness Federer obviously has the best shot

He is a favorite against Tsonga and the most likely semi finalist Ferrer.

1. Federer
2. Ferrer
3. Tsonga
4. Gulbis
5. Berdych
6. Monfils
7. Almagro

Gulbis ahead of Berdych because I see him as a favorite in the match-up against Berdych.

Would be great if Tsonga or Gulbis could make it.

Re: Who will be the finalist from the bottom half?

frauderer's bribed ATP fixed cake walk draw will ensure he reaches the final

there he will be utterly humiliated by a proper clay courter, like the thug or the the gymnast

you have to hope for 3 bagels, each more satisfying than the last

Re: Who will be the finalist from the bottom half?

Heartbreaking match against Nole last year. If there's any justice in the world Tsonga will exact vengeance in this year's final. It's his best ever chance to reach a GS final and I can't see him messing it up.
