The Secret Wish of the Duck

After countless hours of pondering, I've realized what Roddick wishes for the most; the single dream that would allow him to beat virtually every player on court...a boombox! If the ATP instituted boomboxes on the court (and let players flip a coin to decide who's mix gets played), Andy would benefit most, methinks. What do y'all say?

PS- I'm new in this neck of the woods, so I should also say howdy!!

"In the clearing stands a boxer
And a fighter by his trade
And he carries the reminders of ev'ry glove
That laid him down or cut him
'til he cried out, in his anger and his shame
"I am leaving, I am leaving
But the fighter still remains"

Re: The Secret Wish of the Duck

i reckon thats a cool idea, the spaniards can have their bull-fight music, hewitt can have a record of c'mon aussie c'mon with fans in the background shouting his name, massu can have scary music and federer can have classical.

Re: The Secret Wish of the Duck

That's a very novel idea, The Duke. I don't think it's going to happen, though. Speaking of new twists to the game, Richard Williams suggested adding more flair to matches with music and cheerleaders during change overs. I think he said this at USO '04.

Howdy, back atcha, and welcome to MTF!

And again I feel obligated to say...you're not funny either. Quit being such a smart ass and quit filling people's threads with pointless bitching. There is absolutely nothing wrong with The Duke's post...so quit crying about it.

Anyway, moving on....

haha, I could only imagine what Andy would have on his mix...and what the other players would have on theirs!

Come to think of it, they did a neat piece at the USO of a chauffeur who drove a lot of the top players around. He talked about one artist that a lot of them liked because he pumped them up. He mentioned that Andy liked the artist, too. Can anyone remember the name of the artist? Could it be Usher?

I don't think it was Usher...I want to say it was 50 Cent...but I really don't remember all that well. I do remember the segment though. Shoot, this is going to bug me all night.

How many times must we of shot nerves witness the undoubted pain & suffering of muppets everywhere before we stand up against the cavemen??

One muppet, who wishes to remain anonymous, has this to say: "You know, I uhhhh cannot stay all the time at the you know, base of the line. Too much uhhhh pression."

It is your turn to help - The "Save A Muppet Foundation" needs you!
