I agree, he's definitely one of the men that in this moment are like opening their futures in Grand Slams, just as Paradorn.
Now, about Fernando, he's very entertaining to watch, he plays with so much power, he's aggressive, and he always tries to win the points by himself, and that's good, you know, he's not waiting for an error of the rival.
I think that he is kinda similar to Safin, but not so much, Fernando is funny, Safin is too, but I think that Fernando doesn't take too seriously the bad things as Marat does, Fernando is more calm IMO, Fernando always searches a way to get free of his fury in tough moments, and that's by being funny, just as he did in Basel, by taking Clement's glasses, trying to smile, and even to laugh of himself; meanwhile Safin just gets mad, throws his racquet everywhere.....and well, we already know Marat.
THat's why I don't think is too fair to compare so much to Fernando with Marat, of course, both have a lot of talent, a lot of power, and have all the potential to share all the future the Grand Slams between them; but Fernando is different, and I think that if Fernando gets kinda angry or kinda mad on the court is only by his nerves.....just that.
