BEST SERVE

Safin gave a great serving display in the last 2 sets today. But who has had the most effective serve in recent times? For the quality of the second I think my vote goes to Sampras...not a huge surprise i guess. What u all think?

Re: BEST SERVE

Ivanisevic, obviously. Anyone who thinks that Safin or Roddick has better serve did not follow Wimbledon 2001...

Sampras' serve was not as good as Goran's, but he had much better volleys and put-aways, so he was in practice usually more difficult to break.

I'd also like to nominate Wayne Arthurs. Lots of people on the Tour swear that he's got one of the most formidable serves ever.

Re: BEST SERVE

Roddick has the best serve followed closely by Ivanisevic.

I'm not afraid of anyone, but sometimes I'm afraid of myself.
-Justine Henin-Hardenne-

Life it's a great game.
-Andre Agassi-

He was too good. I would suggest to his next opponent that he doesn't look to me for advice.
