I don't see him sinking that far down at all...he would never allow himself to retire with a ranking below the Top 100!

I don't see Peter hanging on much longer, really. He's proven that he can still play with the big boys, and I think after next year's Wimbledon he'll seriously start thinking about calling it quits.

Agree with Tennishack. He'll either quit at the end of the year after the baby is born or play until Wimbledon - he wants to go out there for the last time on Centre court, prefarably in the 2nd week.

i'd settle for around 200...

Q. When you've played as few matches as you have over the last two, three months, did you ever lack motivation to go out and practice?

ANDY RODDICK: Motivation? No. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy what I do. You know, I've never been one to, you know, blow off practice or, you know, do anything like that.

You know, I'd be lying if I said I'm looking forward to practicing the next two days as opposed to playing here. That part is gonna suck...(2010 Aegon Championships)

its funny to see how low the personlity of the creater of this thread a pete's hater who is jealous of his unbreakable 14 grand slams

Rafa! Rafa! Rafa!

Epic movies, like brokeback mountain, are seldom found in the industry or worthy for the mainstream viewer. As often as I have watched the clips of this movie, I always find something more to it. For one, the gay stuff doesn't enter the picture for me, only the dimension of the highest love I have ever witnessed in life or on film.

I think the more apt question should have been "how many more Slams is Pete gonna win before he retires" instead of wondering how low he's gonna sink.

Afterall, he's done shown it doesn't matter his ranking, he's still got it in him to win Slams. Especially when everyone is saying he won't!

Too bad I don't think he's gonna prove it. I half way look for him to retire after the baby is born though he says he's gonna make a decision in November.

TC,

And here you've been telling me all this time, it's time for Pete to retire. If you wanna see him drop in the 200's, that mean's he'll be around when he's 50 or older!

well said, kalforpete, pete always just let his racket do the talking, even Greg bad mouthed him, he did not say a word, how sad people keep "lowering" the king of tennis

I agree, he's the King, so...come on, it's very understandable that many people is jealous about that.
Just ignore them.

I say either this past US Open was his last, or he will give Wimbledon another go. I don't think Pete wants to see his last time at Wimbledon be a 2r loss. If I were Pete I would skip Roland Garros just to train for Wimbledon. After Wimbledon just stop, like Martina did. Let his last US Open be a win.

We found a new place to live where we're taught to grow strong
And strongly sensitive, it always sets the scenery
Colors leave only beauty, words and wine amongst the greenery
See how it is
