Davis Cup World Group Playoffs Draw

Spain v Ukraine
Netherlands v Austria
Croatia v Great Britain
Switzerland v Ecuador
Germany v Brazil
Poland v Australia
Belgium v Israel
Japan v Colombia

Interesting. Will Fed and Nadal play? Janowicz v Tomic? Will Murray break Cilic mentally yet again?

Again an easy draw for Swiss

Poland vs. Australia should be interesting , also I expect Crotia to beat Great Britain.
Only one match outside Europe, hope Colombia will make it

Re: Davis Cup World Group Playoffs Draw

Could have been worse for us bogans. Janowicz at home will be fired up and Matkowski/Fyrstenberg are a formidable doubles combination. Will need to bring back Gooch for that one. B-Nard and Hewitt should be able to get it done in singles against Kubot/Prriezzhugnewyyyy though..

Murray/Cilic will be pretty idemo but Muzza will probs get it done. No worries for Spain and the Swiss. Japan/Columbia tie of the round. Ajde.

Yes! Janowicz v Tomic could be a blockbuster.

Both teams are similar in terms of level, but I hope doubles and home crowd will give Poles the edge.

Feal sorry for the Ukraine - the worst draw imaginable!

Re: Davis Cup World Group Playoffs Draw

Again an easy draw for Spain.

poor Ukraine

Nadal "Sampras, Ivanisevic match. or one between those kind of players, is not enjoyable. It's not really tennis. it is a few swings of the racquet. For me in the past it was just serve. serve". arrogance.

clay excluded. successive win 0. If grass and a hard are fast. Like Sampras era. Nadal is able to win only with clay. power of defense and muscles. boring ugly. All the surface is slow now.

fake time-out. cheat. gamesmanship. too noisy annoying always. excuse. boycotts threatened. always dissatisfaction cry complaints. dissatisfaction to schedule. selfish two-year ranking. bump to player. ugly protest. always exaggerated appeal of self condition. etc. overrated by fanatic arrogant blind fan

Cro- GB in Umag maybe, clay is a obvious choice...doubles will decide the tie and we suck big time, 60-40 in GB's favour

indoor clay in Porec is ultra fast...we gotta go against Ward/Evans, no chance for them to do damage on slow court...but that's imo, our captain is an idiot so who knows

Re: Davis Cup World Group Playoffs Draw

Yea, clay should be clear choice, Murray has 2 points anyway, but on clay we also have 2 sure points and in doubles a good chance if Cilic doesnt play.

Also, there's a chance Murray might not play if it's on clay right before indoor season.
