As much as I disliked Murray touching his back a fair few times on the clay last year, to say he was faking is disgusting.

Just look at the last few sets against Ferrer in the next round and it's clear he wasn't faking.

Re: Peak Murray

Murray v. Federer, Shanghai 2010 is also peak Murray. He played out of his mind.

Just rewatch his matches against Gasquet and especially Nieminem then

The 2012 Shanghai finals against Djokovic deserves to be mentioned. He should've won that match in straight sets.

I was still hoping Fed would win it, because winning two golds in a matter of hours would have been a bit greedy, no? And I don't think Switzerland had any medals at that time, whereas we had quite a few already. So I thought Fed could win the singles gold and Andy the mixed gold, and that'd be fair .

I do wish it had been a less one-sided match, though

Ofc he wasn't faking it. Nieminem probably pulled off the greatest muggery of all time, he would have won easily if he just stayed calm, instead he went on an error spree.

That was an odd one, because he'd been shite in the tournament up till then.

That Queen's Club beatdown of Roddick springs to mind.

You got your facts wrong, man. The GOAT schooled him in the final.

Re: Peak Murray

Peak Murray. That does sound funny.

Probably Olympics from what I've heard, shame I couldn't see it.
