Miami R16: Berdych Beats Down Querrey 6-1, 6-1

That's right. I'm whoring all the threads today. But I can't help it, as they have each involved a genuine favorite of mine.

The win was expected from Berdych, but I thought it would be with much more of a struggle. It's a good sign that he (Tomas) can produce this kind of performance even on courts like these.

The guy has matured tremendously as a player.

Good result.

Expected, Querrey is a pathetic player.

Re: Miami R16: Berdych Beats Down Querrey 6-1, 6-1

Expected result considering Querrey has been terrible all season, even serve is no longer a weapon these days.

Berdych, on the other hand, is putting together a very consistent season so far. Another semifinal, maybe even final, seems on the horizon for him here.

MTF games titles:

Suicide Tennis (5): Wimbledon 2014, World Tour Finals 2015, Madrid 2015, Kuala Lumpur 2014 and Metz 2015 - 1 Slam, 1 WTF, 1 Masters 1000, 2 ATP 250; 2 finals lost

Fill-in-the-Draw (3): US Open 2014, Rotterdam 2013 and Geneva 2015 - 1 Slam, 1 ATP 500 and 1 ATP 250

Tennis Tipping (3): Veneza and Todi 2014 (with vn01), Knoxville 2015 (with Redkop) - 3 challengers; 7 finals lost

Re: Miami R16: Berdych Beats Down Querrey 6-1, 6-1

Berd was relentless, Querrey was laughable, basically, though there were like a 1000 30-30 games. trashed his racket at the start of the first, unsurprisingly.

Querrey is just terrible making all kinds of error with zero confidence. That said, Berdych would still win but not with scoreline like this.

That was just bizarre, is Querrey sick or something? Berdych was average, nothing more. Querrey had an inhuman number of UEs
