Yippee!

So glad he's breaking the jinx. Three threads opened.

Great win. Sorry for Kohli, he has been kinda sleepwalking through the last few months it seems, but Goffin definitely needed this more. Next opponent is probably Almagro, who is very beatable. Just needs to avoid throwing away service games and he should be alright.

Woohoo! Great win, getting into form just in time for those Le Gosier points from 2012 dropping off.

111/206 points won on serve - That's 53,8%. How close is this to being a negative record at ATP level, especially over 3 sets?

MTF games titles:

Suicide Tennis (5): Wimbledon 2014, World Tour Finals 2015, Madrid 2015, Kuala Lumpur 2014 and Metz 2015 - 1 Slam, 1 WTF, 1 Masters 1000, 2 ATP 250; 2 finals lost

Fill-in-the-Draw (3): US Open 2014, Rotterdam 2013 and Geneva 2015 - 1 Slam, 1 ATP 500 and 1 ATP 250

Tennis Tipping (3): Veneza and Todi 2014 (with vn01), Knoxville 2015 (with Redkop) - 3 challengers; 7 finals lost

Lenders, stop getting over-critical. He's just beginning to get some rhythm. Focus on Ferrer.

Who, except for a hater, really gives a fuck about that?

The only thing that matters is who gets the 'W' next to their name, and today that was David.

It's just statistical curiosity, I don't remember watching any other ATP match with such low % of points won by the server. I'm sure one of MTF's resident statisticians will have a better idea though.

Anyone with an interest in both tennis and statistics, given how unusual a stat this is in men's tennis.

Beating the worst player in the top 100 and an injured one is nothing to get excited about. Worst thing is he actually has a shot against Almagro
