If true, it's a mental toughness deficit which is both rare, and hilarious. I would say that Djoker was seduced, rather than bothered by Fognini's pollyannish demeanour.

Great tactic by the Fog! He thinks: why piss off the world # 1, when I get can make him giddy and turn the match into an exhibition. It's like snake charming lol. Once Djoker becomes aware how of he was bamboozled by the i-talian, he's gonna go on a rampage and double bagel him next time.

you underestimate the evergreen, intangible allure of The Fog.

Nole just needed a bit more practice and gave away a set. Godovic will make his appearance in the more advanced stages of the tournament as in Melbourne and Dubai

Now that I've witnessed it for myself, I get it now.

It happens. Fed lost the first set to Jaziri 57 and then won the last two sets 60 62. Here, Djokovic basically did the same except he lost the second set not the first. It really means nothing as far as how he'll do going forward. Federer played 7 and 9/10 strong sets after losing the opening set vs Jaziri before losing the second set to Berdych in Dubai.

not good match but entertaining
should have been much easier for Nole, but I'm glad the match is not finished quickly, I love to watch Fabio and his constant talking with himself or crowd or...
