highlight of the match was when a linesperson ran over to the umpire to tattle on fabio's illegal coaching. Fabio proceeds to have a one on one talk with the lad about how it is very wrong to deceive the Fog.

strange match. fog applied voodoo spells in the 2nd.

ASI Director-General Gautam Sengupta said the list of India's treasures held abroad was "too long to handle" and there was a need for a "diplomatic and legal campaign" for their restitution from institutions, including the British Museum, the Royal Collection and the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

And got a time violation on top of the warning

Re: Indian Wells R2: Djokovic fights the fog from Fognini 6-0 5-7 6-2

Fognini won 6 points in the 1st set. Then in the second he played far better, but Nole also made a lot of easy errors to get broken when he was up a break. Third set was more-less straightforward for Nole. Anyway, passable for 1st match, but he will have to get better soon

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

bizarre match. Djokovic going from being clinical to completely disinterested/bored in the second set, just farting around. I felt like smacking his head at the time. never underestimate your opponent.

Fognini is a funny guy, very colorful personality. It was hilarious to watch him talking to himself all the time, behaving as if he was #1 in the world .

Djokovic shouldn't be having lapses like that second set ... but it happens sometimes I guess.

Re: Indian Wells R2: Djokovic fights the fog from Fognini 6-0 5-7 6-2

Terrible performance in the 2nd set (and parts of the 3rd set) by Djokovic. I think he was just furious with himself for letting Fognini back in the match, and for no good reason. It's not like Fognini played lights out tennis, Nole just lost concentration and got him into the match. Once Fognini was back in the match he played much better. This match perfectly illustrates why you should NEVER give your opponent even one game. Commentators and fans sometimes ask "why did you have to bagel your opponent, why couldn't you just give him one game so he is not totally embarrassed"...this is why. I'm impressed Nole didn't break a racquet or show his anger on the court, because he must have been furious with himself. He was zen the whole match.

Loved the way Nole dealt with time violation warning. Never seen a player so polite with the umpire after time violation. He even said "you're right" to the umpire. That's the way to handle it. Other players (not naming any names) should take note.

It's actually Montanes' fault. He should've been able to beat an injured opponent.

fun to see Novak getting a time violation warning though hahaha
And did you see how he handled it? He even said "you're right" to the umpire. That's the way to handle time violation warning. He could have easily been furious with the umpire like every other player is when he receives a time violation warning at a critical point in the match.
