If he can avoid a red hot ballbasher in the early rounds and end up in Murray's quarters, he might reach SF.

It seems the spanish Mayflower has arrived in MTF's port. ClayDead and TornskinDoctor are gone but there are new to take the mantle.

hehe don't take gnsmnadal seriously. He hopes that by repeating "Nadal GOAT" 10 times a day on this forum, that somemone might actually start believing it (even though he doesn't). So far no luck, but he still has at least 70-80 more years of repeating it.

He does it out of love so good luck to him!

We all know Nadal is great, but THE GOAT is someone else.

Murray should be VERY motivated. He is about to turn 26 and only has one slam. And that slam has a huge asterisk, according to many, because of the wind.... Also he should try and fix his 1-5 record in slam finals which is awful.

Those are precisely the only players he cannot meet in the QF, due to the fact that he's ranked #5.

He could meet Ferrer or Murray, though... Being #5 works well for Rafa.

I'm looking forward to seeing another Djok-Rafa encounter in QF. That H2H needs adjustments ASAP

There is no asterisk whatsoever about the wind or whatever condition. It's all part of winning is you navigate a certain environment better then your opponent. Now agreed Andy's time to shine is now since he has few good years left and had better maximize those.

Re: Predict Nadal's performance at Indian Wells

It's possible to make the final if he gets in a Federer/Ferrer half. He may also lose in the Quarters if facing Djokovic or Murray. Federer may have had Berdych in his quarter again, and so Nadal might lose to him (even though Berdych hasn't beaten Nadal since '06, and only taken one set since then).

I highly doubt he loses earlier, but Karlovic might have another run

Re: Predict Nadal's performance at Indian Wells

I would like to see Rafa play Murray at Indian Wells. Murray is almost an honorary Spaniard when it comes to respect Rafa. He has only beaten Rafa 4 times in 17 encounters, the other win was a W/O.

That match would be a good indication of where Andy and Rafa are...Very interesting for Nole fans... And then I'd like the winner to face Nole, just to see wheere everybody is.
