Indian Wells wild cards

David Nalbandian, Tommy Robredo, James Blake, Tim Smyczek, Steve Johnson, Taylor Townsend.

I'm happy that Blake got one although he needs really weak opponent to make it to R2.

Federer
Blake, Tsonga, Gasquet, Santoro, Almagro, Llodra, Brands, Kohlschreiber, Mahut
Janowicz, Kubot, Przysiezny

Re: Indian Wells wild cards

Gulbis has showed precious little at iw.

I'm happy for Tim, but I thin this means I'll see fewer of his matches. I could count on two matches in the qualies normally. Now I fear he will lose in the first round.

On the women's side 'll be interested to see Taylor Townsend in action. Also Madison Keys. I should be getting pic requests for her.

Who would you like to have seen? I don't care for nalbandian, but I think it was the right thing to do for a player who is in his waning days. It's respectful.

Re: Indian Wells wild cards

Donald Young should have got a wild card. Muggy USTA not supporting their most talented player, as usual. What a disgrace.

Re: Indian Wells wild cards

i just think sock was deserving of a main draw wild card. he's played well recently as opposed to blake, robredo or nalbandian

Sock got a wild card last year and stunk up the joint although I blame it on that clown suit Adidas had him wear. Ruined it for verdasco too. . Jack has to make do with a wildcard for the qualies.
