Delray Beach R1 (8) Malisse def Falla 6-3 6-3

They met here 6 years ago and the ATP website says it was RR. When was this tournament RR? But anyhow, solid stuff from Malisse.

Re: Delray Beach R1 (8) Malisse def Falla 6-3 6-3

It was RR when ATP attempted to organize RR tournies before 1/2 play off stages. DB was selected as one of the experimental tournies.

Btw Xavier f*cked the experiment quite a bit then. He clinched 1st spot in his group and tanked his RR final match to Schuettler.

As for today encounter: weird match. Some brilliant shots followed by really silly errors.

Alejandro just made those UEs at key points, therefore appeared to be a loser.

Actually it's not weird at all for Malisse. Day in the office.

the worse thing about Malisse is that you never know If he will actually be willing to win match or he wishes to procceed to next tournament.

Federer
Blake, Tsonga, Gasquet, Santoro, Almagro, Llodra, Brands, Kohlschreiber, Mahut
Janowicz, Kubot, Przysiezny

The difference was that Malisse had more good shots and fewer silly errors than Falla. Both of them shot way too many silly errors though.
