No one was beating Nadal with that serve and confidence anyway. Not Nadal's fault Murray lost to Wawrinka. Don't think Federer in a semi would have been worse for him given his record against Federer at slams - including outdoor hardcourts.

Will agree that this is a lopsided draw though - Stan got hard done by. Still, Nadal seems to struggle with everyone currently so I'm not counting any chickens as yet.
That Samprasdal was good. What happened to that monster serve?

Re: WWW ATP 500: Acapulco

All I have to say is poor tournament, their field sucks, they usually get tons of top 30 players, and Nadal's draw to quarters is so easy, they could have placed all WC and Q in that part of the draw.

2010 - 8th seed 30, cut off 90
2011 - 8th seed 35, cut off 91
2012 - 8th seed 25, cut off 87
2013 - 8th seed 41, cut off 100

It has been pretty good for the last 3 years, but this year just

To me it looks very similar to 2011, tbh...

Monaco - Del Potro - Nadal - Wawrinka - Robredo - Simon - Berdych - Dimitrov - Chardy

I lost my faith in Almagro long time ago. Hoping for the Rafa/Pics final.

All the mugs in the draw are not even fit to lick Nadal's shoes after he steps on dogshit. Nadal won't drop a set here

Re: WWW ATP 500: Acapulco

Besides picking the winner (I think Nadal will do this) I could puke on the fact that none of the southamerican tourneys seems to have an "english version button" on their sites. If Im to dumb to find it please correct me, if not its really a shame that the ATP not bind the tourneys to do so. What a quest to pay some students for this insolvable work...

Re: WWW ATP 500: Acapulco

I'd say Nadal despite his current form

Federer
Blake, Tsonga, Gasquet, Santoro, Almagro, Llodra, Brands, Kohlschreiber, Mahut
Janowicz, Kubot, Przysiezny

So, if ALmagro doesn't win the title, Richie retains the #10 for another 3 weeks. excellent.

VAMOS RAFA !

Re: WWW ATP 500: Acapulco

I don't know who will win the tournament, but I can predict with 100% accuracy what will happen if there is a Ferrer-Nadal final.

If Ferrer wins: "Whatever, he took advantage of a formerly-injured opponent, no way he would have beaten a healthy Rafa"
If Ferrer loses: "Lol, no way Ferrer was going to ever beat Rafa on clay anyway"

So in both cases, Nadaltards and Ferrer haters will win
