Nice win for Julien, hopefully he could take his maiden title tomorrow.

Well if there's ONE thing I hate most in tennis, it's watching a player oust one of my favourites in a fantastic match, and following up that performance the very next day with an absolute stinker. Which unfortunately happens all too often.

Glad to see Benneteau back up his good performance of yesterday with another solid victory. Congrats on the great job, Julien!

As for tomorrow I fear Mr. Benneteau will go down in his 8th ATP final like he did in all of his earlier attempts as JMDP truly showed his best earlier on today, but well... reaching a final of an ATP 500 tournament, and ousting the sky-rocketing favourite en route, is nothing to sniff at.

Best of luck tomorrow, Julien!

I agree about this Well if there's ONE thing I hate most in tennis, it's watching a player oust one of my favourites in a fantastic match, and following up that performance the very next day with an absolute stinker. Which unfortunately happens all too often.

You just see so many times a player will have a "great" day and knock out a favorite whether it is my favorite or not and then you can normally count on them losing the next Match they play! Congrats to Julien that he didn't let that happen

Better to be a good player who chokes than a spoiled brat who thinks he's a legend and only reached Slam finals to kiss Federer's ass.

I AGREE! Unfortunately, however, many biased fans of the top 4 will not give credit to lesser players who play outstanding tennis. There were many wonderful rallies in this match today. Hopefully, Beneteau can win tomorrow, though I doubt it. I do think he will be tougher for Delpo than Simon wouuld have been.
