Ferrer is an even worse mental midget than Berlocq - these clay court grinders are all wired to fold like cheap tents in crucial junctures, especially against Nadal.

Yes, textbook chokes with double faults at the crucial moments included. He was up a break in the third.

It's for all the years of torture Rafa inflicted on the top 4.

Disgusting crowd, cheering for every error Berlocq made.

I don't disagree with this, I have no denial in Ferrer being a big choker even though i like him, but it would not have been close enough to choke the way Nadal was today

Ferrer would find a way to lose against Nadal, I'm sure. Especially in a big match. That's just his style. Nadal's got a long way to go to even start facing a Ferrer-type player late in a tournament, though. His level is that poor.

Warlocq's grunt was pretty dreadful though. He upped it even more just to piss off the crowd

Obviously Rafito's celebration was justified given the opponent.

Almost as dreadful as Nadal's celebration. I know I've defended Rafa over the past few weeks but that was just a dreadful celebration. Who the fuck celebrates like that over a win against Berlocq?

Mark Lenders banged your girlfriend, I'm sorry to tell you that mate.

Nadal is pretty poor at the moment, this is true, but we can't deny the court conditions are pretty horrid. hard to read a lot when he obviously is not going to go for crazy shots or run as much as normal on this dirt because he's afraid to injure himself

I think the key to Nadal right now is

confidence - success

he just does not have the confidence in the movement

as soon as he really trusts the knees

his game will improve tenfold
