I am totally blown. best thing about being Nadal's fan is knowing he's a fighter and is ferocious on court but lately he's not been. it's one thing to be in bad form. it's another not to be fighting for every point like you did all the rest of your career. blah.

Nadal could barely win a return point in that set

I know. For some reason I'm loving it.

Nadal's fighting spirit just seems so much different than it used to be. it's hard to expect him to do well or really root for him when he looks indifferent and lazy out there

Re: 2013 Live Commentary

I can't envision a guy who I was told is famous for always falling in the SF stage in Challengers beating Nadal in a SF... but I still love that he took a set, should be easy pickins for Nalbandian

Matosevic, Hanescu, Lorenzi, Kukushkin, Chiudinelli, Gulbis, Bozoljac, Gabashvili, Hernych, Brown, Garcia-Lopez, Rosol, Zeballos, Istomin, Kohlschreiber, Tursunov, Robert, Gonzalez, Monaco, Thiem, Seppi

Seriously, that backhand is a disgrace to backhands worldwide

Would have won £300 if Nadal had won this in straight sets (without having to go to a tie-break). Blast the fool.

Re: 2013 Live Commentary

Nadal is so bad it's almost, ALMOST, not funny. This guy Alund has a bad one-handed backhand and he's controlling a lot the rallies against Nadal... Nadal is moving really poorly, might be afraid to move on the allegedly poor courts maybe? He did seem to move slowly at Vina del Mar.

After Nadal beat Monfils at Doha, before AO 2014

Only Del Potro can take him out before the semis, and he won't. Nadal is winning the AO, bet your house on it.
Somewhere out there, there is a homeless person who once took betting advice from GSMnadal
