Karlovic had MP on own serve at 6-4 in breaker, pretty big choke really. Then on MP Johnson he had overhead on top of the net. Like, the ball was over the net. 6 feet in the air. Perfect height. And he attempted this bizarre, awful shot that got what it deserved.

Think Ivo may retire soon, can't do much except serve and an increasingly huge choker.

It seems his Wimby QF was his defining career moment, that and the masters semi, but players like Nishimug and Mugowicz had similar results.

last point was ridiculous. easiest bouncing smash ever from on top of the net. he could have done anything with it and he hits it mid-pace with nothing at all on it.

strange match overall. ivo looked completely cooked at the start of the third. broke himself to love at the end of the second then had trainer out. service percentage and speeds dropped like a stone.

then they both started to pick up as the set went on and he looked the more likely winner right up to the point he lost it.

Americans don't even come out to watch a fellow American

This tournament doesn't DESERVE to stay on the calender.

Here's another. I believe this is the Harrison-Becker match.

Terrible attendance. Even if the match was played during the day. The tournament's not returning next year, so who knows how much promotion they put into the event this year. I hope the evening matches are better attended.
