Great, promising display from Dimitrov. Davydenko wasn't even bad, Dimitrov was just all over him. This is boding very well for the youngster, his footwork seems generally improved and his serve is killing. Hoping to see more of this

Davydenko should just retire, there's no way he will ever get where he once was; he's just tarnishing his legacy (like hewitt is)

He's not intending to get where he was, he's just trying to make $$$ as much as possible before he retires

Neither Davy, nor Hewitt are tarnishing their legacy. They're either playing for money or because they love the game. They should only retire when they feel like doing it. The fans of theirs who are saying they are tarnishing their legacy were never their fans.

Roger - Dimitrov final would be great. Still a long way to go though.

Not even sure Dimi's FH is on the same level as Cilic, Almagro, Tomic etc.

Ah and .. you're judging a player on his fanboys? Very good ... what can he do if his fanboys are retards.
No, I don't judge the player. I said that I would start rooting against that player so those retarded fanboys wouldn't get the satisfaction. That's a pretty common reaction I think when faced with the stupidity sometimes (often) present in GM. I can still respect the player in question however.

I've never understood people who are so mentally weak, they let others influence who they support. If you don't like a player's fans, that's fine but why let anonymous forum posters determine who you support?

I've only watched bits and chunks of this match, since I was glued to soccer match at the same time, taking place in Madrid...but from what I saw, Davy gifted the break in the first set with brainless errors and I assume the second set went the similar route as well. Bulgarian pusher did well to capitalize on old Kolya's mistakes I guess
