I suspect tore ligament(s). Reminded me of Stich in Vienna (for the older ones).

I watched it on stream and the more times I saw it the more sure I got he got torn ligaments. I'll be surprised if I read they're not torn.

Oh no I hate ankle injuries, makes me sick just thinking about ankle twisting.

As for the courts, what a disgrace. This is not even suitable for challengers. If I was a player I would withdraw with reason: playing conditions or some injury excuse.

literally just rolled my ankle during a warmup (and somehow carried on to actually win the match - BOOM), but now I don't er... feel quite so bad. poor affleck.
