Re: Nieminen def Goffin 6:0 6:0

Nieminen hammered a couple of sturdy nails in the Goffin

No injury apparent, Goffin's game was just all over the place. Movement was good, occasionally world class strokes but about 90% of the time unforced errors bonanza. Worse than what you see in a bad CH match.

Trolololo Jarkko

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

David is pretty useless these days. Sad.

Re: Rotterdam R1: Nieminen def. Goffin 6-0 6-0

I'm not a Goffin fan but I was willing him to win at least one game as that was hard to watch.

Goffin's problem is that he is weaponless counter-puncher and Niemenen was far too crafty for him. He didn't give Goffin the pace he needs and worked him around the court. You could see Goffin panicking as the match went on and when he started forcing his shots, they usually went out.

It's hard to believe some on here think Goffin is the next big thing. His game is so one-dimensional.

I bet when Charlene and Myla grow up a bit and ask who is that guy who daddy is hugging on tennis court that Fed will be denying Goffin's existence

Goffin had 8 DF's, doesn't seem right.

Can't believe Haas took Nieminen to 5 sets at the AO.
