yep, Delpo back to play his best when he knows a match with Fed is around the corner, typical of him and the rest of ATP tour.

Are you sure that it wasn't in km/h?

Expected result.

Monfils, like Gasquet, is no threat to top players when they're on form. Except for Ferrer, mind.

Bad for tennis every time this mindless ballbasher wins a match.

Monfils pulled out some absolutely incredible shots and entertained as usual, but he's not ready yet to challenge top players. I hope he's not discouraged, should ask for a wild card to Marseille and hopefully get a softer draw so he can keep building up his ranking and avoid terrible draws like this one.

It was all about Delpo being more steady although Monfils was generally the aggressor and more flashy player.
Vamos Delpo. Now,go all the way and take the title.

Eeek. Thought there would be more discussion about Monfils ranking. It's starting to look very very very bat as nadal would say.

actually Monfils, Nalbandian, Hewitt and Blake are at the moment very near from each other in the rankings, but everybody knows they're worth better than that.

Yes Monfils is younger but everybody knows he got there because of injury.

Besides, Monfils suffers from the stupid rule that Del Po had to suffer 2 years ago which is that a commitment player who hasn't been able to play any ATP500 tournament during a year because of injury has to suffer 4 zeropointers in his rankings. That's also the reason why he doesn't go to Indian Wells and probably to Miami either (for precisions see here : Indian Wells Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated March 6, 2013) )

useless old guy
