Rotterdam R1: Gulbis humiliates Haase 6-2 6-1

When Gulbis isn't clowning around he's simply better than Haase in every department, even a magical appearance of peak Gulbis came out during the biggest part of the second set, which was very arousing. Haase on the other hand played like Gulbis normally does these days. Considering Gulbis isn't playing a mug in the next round he might even repeat this performance against Del Potro or Monfils.

Rotterdam R1: Gulbis destroys Haase 6-2, 6-1

It's always a pleasure to see Gulbis win something, especially when you look at his form in the past twelve months.

Keep focused, Ernie!

Haase too passive, while Ernests was sending winners all over the place. First Dutchie out, somehow I expected it to be Robin. He needs to start playing up to his ranking .

Mega Gulbis rolls past Haase

Top 30 tennis from Gulbis here, haven't seen him in such form for a very long time, no double faults, no stupid decisions, and very consistent, against Potro should be a 50/50 match.

Only 50 minutes! Peak Gulbis showing up to silence local hopes, didn't even give Haase a chance to play. Everything was working today. Blistering return winners, complete domination on his own serve with numerous second serve aces (!), good movement, even the controversial new ugly forehand fully justifying its existence. The second set was insane. Gulbis looking really confident indoors, he will do some damage if he keeps this up (hope he does, for once).

Utterly brutal from Gulbis, winners from all over the place and also hit a 127mph ace on a second serve in that 2nd set. Him vs Monfils/Del Potro could be fun if this Gulbis turns up
