He's not supposed to beat everyone, he'supposed to beat Hanescu... The rest of his draw is irrelevent since he couldn't get out of the first round.

As for Mareilles, no it's not going to get better. Hanescu didn't even get into the tournament in Marseilles, he's first in the alternate list. Though I think there is a player in the Marseilles entry list that is actually worse than Hanescu with Bautista-Agut, so I guess there is still a small chance that Janowicz could get a better draw there...

Hanescu is just average, at best. When Janowicz loses to player like old Hanescu, who is more of a claycourter in straight sets, then something is wrong. I mean, wrong with Janowicz, not with the draw. There are no excuses, I´m sorry.

Hanescu is a good player though, has had a nice come-back and won a lot of matches since summer after his ranking had dangerously decreased. But of course I think Llodra has the best chance to reach QF, Llodra loves Rotterdam where he's a former winner.

useless old guy

Of course something is wrong, he's got bad mental strength... Not an excuse just fact.

I don't like Janowicz's game, attitude or grunting so I'm fine with this result. He wouldn't have troubled Federer anyway so I don't know why people are bringing that up.

Is it possible at all that he had a bad day? Geez, a player can lose one match and not be completely washed up...Players lose matches all the time...Any player can beat any player on any given day...That is how tennis works...Your comments are illogical and seething with bitterness...Get a grip, hater

EDIT - That 'not disrespectful' bit refers to the title.

I'm happy for Hanescu. Canned the Golden swing after several poor results there.

there's no such thing as a bad mental strength, it's either you have one or you don't
furthermore, this result comes as no surprise to all of us who didn't jump to that hype about Jerzy created by fake journos

I believe actual Bautista-Agut is like >> Hanescu, especially after the AO i have a different appreciation of the guy

At that level, on indoors hard it's hard for me to figure a better draw than Victor Hanescu, he's not like terrible, but it's the kind of guy you want in a first round. Better than any qualifier and better than most players eligible for this level of tennis.

Maybe Ramos or Andujar, but again i'm not sure they're a better draw, rather an equally good one.

You're losing it, mate. You blamed this loss on a bad draw, when Hanescu is the worst player of the whole field except for maybe one or two of the qualifiers and the dutch wildcards (actually he's probably worse than De Bakker too). That was a stupid statement and you're just getting the mocking that you deserve.
