Well deserved by Zeballos, played the match of his life. Rafa will only improve, not a bad performance for his first tournament in 7 months.

RAFAEL NADAL and GRIGOR DIMITROV

Rafa winning at least one slam in 10 consecutive years is the best achievement in Open Era tennis since Laver won all 4 Grand slam tournaments in the same year!

Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion!

Wow just wow. That last game. He just went for it and so deserved this. And I read he likes hard courts better.

You speak of the last game but really starting in the 7th game in the 2nd set Zeballos was ridiculous... I actually hold it in Rafa's favor that it took that much for Zeb to win this cause he kept doing ridiculously insane stuff to edge out Nadal.

Zeb played an amazing match. I'm now a fan no doubt.

Zeballos will be ranked 43 in the world. Two below his highest ever ranking.

Warlocq clearly let Zeb borrow some of his power in their post-match handshake. This is what happens.

Re: Vina del Mar Final: Zeballos stuns Nadal 6-7(2), 7-6(6), 6-4

So only 3 people have beaten Nadal in a clay final:

Federer (2007 Hamburg & 2009 Madrid)
Djokovic (2011 Madrid & 2011 Rome)
Zaballos (2013 Vina del Mar)

Has GSMnadull posted his impressions of the match or is he still crying?

From the middle of the 2nd set on, this was one of the best matches I've seen.
