Re: Vina del Mar Final: Zeballos stuns Nadal 6-7(2), 7-6(6), 6-4

Great performance from Zeballos. Great serving and massive hitting. His first ever win against a top 10 player, his first ever ATP title, and at the age of 27.

Nadal looked good on serve, and looked good hitting down the line. But somehow got outhit here today by a guy playing brilliantly.

I am incredibly shocked. I expected that backhand to fall to pieces. It did not. Incredible performance, even if also a sign Nadal is now beatable on clay. Wow. Welcome to my signature, Zeballos (He was actually in there 2 years ago, and I got rid of him once he faded away in the rankings) That last game was out of his mind

Zeballos completely deserves the cult status he will now have.

Well,it was unbelieveble attacking display...no words to describe this...winner after winner after winner. Everybody should watch the replay of this match, because it is hard to explain how well Horacio played...

Zeballos played very well and showed a lot of heart

My impression was that Rafa wasn't brave enough, too passive and cautious in some important points

L'alma dell'alma mia,
Il cor del mio cor...

Forget how Nadal played, that was unbelievable from Zeballos, couldn't believe what I was watching at times!

Instead of spitting on Rafa, i think we should all congratulate first Zeballos who played absolutely amazing.
As i said in live commentary, Rafa has won big clay tournaments in the past playing worse than tonight.
Zeballos was just in god-mode, especially in last set.

Incredible stuff! Enthralling all the way through, one I'll never forget and I doubt Horacio will either.

Not a bad showing at all from Nadal for his first tournament back. Congratulations to Zeballos!
