The man's in such a state of denial as would befit any doper.
Where does he say that?

ITF world Spring, page 3.

http://itf.uberflip.com/i/117483/11

Bitti is in denial, like Armstrong was and all dopers are. Bitti says the quality of the ITF programme is 'well recognised'. By who exactly? On the contrary, criticism of the ITF programme has been extensive, both within and without the game, including from the likes of Dick Pound, ex-head of WADA.

The ITF has been far too casual in its approach. It has in the past denied a doping problem exists on the basis of the low number of test positives seen in tennis. However what was deficient was the testing programme itself. It isn't basically designed to catch dopers but rather to convince a gullible public with the kind of nonsense we see now from the ITF president made in an official ITF publication.

We all have our personal beliefs and views on doping but no one really knows to what extent a problem exists in tennis. However statements like Bitti's give no real reassurance at all, quite the contrary really because his statement belies a continuing complacency on the part of those who should be taking the problem more seriously. He also moans about lack of budget too while at least one grand slam tournament is talking of their next $100 million project to construct another stadium roof. Something doesn't quite add up.

Shame on you, Spain. Let's see that clown Kiedis defend this decision.

Isn't he banned?

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Fuentes got a 1 year suspended sentence and a 4 year ban from sports medicine.

Somewhat lenient.

Disgraceful covering up from the Spanish government but sadly expected. A lot of work went into that World Cup victory, can't have all that go to waste can we...

This is so predictable, even I predicted on the previous page.

LOL at spanish judge, spanish court, and spanish sports.

Who will ever think spanish sport is clean again?

And snowwy, do not ban me or give me infraction, I did not mention Ferrer or your favorite Nadal.

A BBC reporter:

Quote:
After #puerto verdict Jesus Manzano, main whistleblower, tells me that Spain will continue being 'doping paradise'

#puerto - court spokesman says bags of blood will stay in a lab in Barcelona until the verdict is officially 'signed'

The Spanish anti-doping agency said it would appeal against the destruction order to the country’s Supreme Court.
