Zhenya failed in his six-peat record....

finally he is defeated after a five year incredible winning streak in Moscow...

But a very sad way to lose in straight sets to Schalken.....

I don't mean to be antagonistic, I was sad that Zhenya lost as well. But why is it such a sad way to lose to Schalken? Sjeng is a great player who has shown outstanding form this year with his great results in the slams. He's not a nobody, certainly not someone you have to play badly to lose against. Losing to Schalken is nothing to be ashamed about.

What's so funny 'bout peace, love and understanding?

You are right layla. I do not mean that it was sad to lose to Sjeng...

It was sad THE WAY ZHENYA Played.... If you have followed comstar or the java scoreboard, he could hardly hold his serve in every game, unforced errors plenty and to lose without playing his best tennis... that's disappointing....

Oh ok. I didn't follow the match. In that case it is sad that he broke his string in this manner. Poor Zhenya. He must have been so disappointed.
