Re: Janowicz criticizes Federer and Djokovic's attitude

You know, I don't mind his comments but after his unprofessional "how many times" attention seeking at AO I don't like him very much as a person. Still interesting player though. And btw, sooner or later everyone in tennis learns to be more humble and respectful, even the biggest stars. It's not because they act or try to please everyone, but because they were on the tour long enough to learn about their profession and fellow colleagues in a more mature and respectful way. When you are young and hungry it's easy to have big mouth and to talk whatever you want.

I am sure that he respects what both men have accomplished, he is not commenting on their games. He is commenting on their personality and just because these are 2 great players and jerzy is young and coming up, it does not mean he has to instantly love them and look up to them. If he doesnt like them as people he really doesnt have too

was it smart of him to say this..probably not however he shouldnt be scewered for it either.

Wow, this guy is a bigger loser than what I originally thought...I can't wait to see him get spanked by either Djoker or Fed. Guy gets one Masters Final and starts mouthing off, you're an embarassment.

i am surprised because I am Fed fan, for some posters his biggest tard and at the same time like Janowicz, these comments didn't make me to change my mind about him. tbh he always looked like he is lacking few brain cells but i like his game. I have enough my own problems to be even bothered with what people saying or thinking about me, so losing my time on what some other player thinks about my favorite player is absurdity

if he has nothing positive to say he should STFU

sick of young punks like him who like to make some noise to get some publicity for themselves

at least Tomic backs it up and is far more likeable than this mentally unhinged Frankenstein.

it's still very honest imo

I think he's a very emotional guy, missing a little bit "distance/thinking" in his judgments (I agree that he is "anti-intellectual" imo but I wouldn't say that he's "a bit slow" )

but I think he said what he had in mind and that's OK for me

Actually I like someone who is emotional and sincere, I had perceived that from him in Paris and it's just a confirmation in my eyes.

As for Federer, he has heard this comment about his attitude during the Australian open meeting before, he would surely like to be better understood (he said something like that in some interviews that he would like to be sure to be understood by other players for what he does as a president of the players' council, and I think it was about that topic), but it's not something new for him.

I think his comment about Djokovic is more direct and could be perceived as unpleasant by the person concerned, although in this case as well, it's clearly not the first time Djokovic has heard that, as I heard it from the mouth of some other players or tennis staff as well (but as much as I understand that some things that Djokovic does, can give this impression, I think the word "fake" is excessive imo).

useless old guy
