Some of you enjoy this drama ... Jan opened his big mouth, says some BS and now he is a hero, uh, oh ... and you call that 'honesty', guy is simply stupid, unprofessional and disrespectful. There is nothing honest in his statement.
it's still very honest imo
I think he's a very emotional guy, missing a little bit "distance/thinking" in his judgments (I agree that he is "anti-intellectual" imo but I wouldn't say that he's "a bit slow"
but I think he said what he had in mind and that's OK for me
Actually I like someone who is emotional and sincere, I had perceived that from him in Paris and it's just a confirmation in my eyes.
As for Federer, he has heard this comment about his attitude during the Australian open meeting before, he would surely like to be better understood (he said something like that in some interviews that he would like to be sure to be understood by other players for what he does as a president of the players' council, and I think it was about that topic), but it's not something new for him.
I think his comment about Djokovic is more direct and could be perceived as unpleasant by the person concerned, although in this case as well, it's clearly not the first time Djokovic has heard that, as I heard it from the mouth of some other players or tennis staff as well (but as much as I understand that some things that Djokovic does, can give this impression, I think the word "fake" is excessive imo).
