you must make a confusion with another player because Andujar never had any match point against Nadal, only set points I think

Andujar could be tricky. I also think that a rusty Nadal could have trouble potentially with Montanes in the 3rd round despite their two lopsided meetings in the past.

5-1 40-0 in the 3rd I think, and also had something like another 4 after that.

Berdych | Murray | Tsonga | Monfils | Raonic | Soderling

I remember that match. Andujar turned from a hero into a mug within minutes

Conditions looked pretty heavy which isn't the kind of clay Nadal thrives the most on, but he looked pretty good. It seemed to me was hesitant to lunge hard out to his forehand especially early in the match.

Nah, Rafa isn't actually very sharp today, leaking quite a lot cheap UEs that he usually wouldn't. Del Bonis just can't put him under any pressure. Looking at the draw, the only potentially interesting match Nadal could have here is vs Chardy. When 'on, Chardy's forehand is one of the biggest weapons in tennis, even if not at his best he would still test Rafa's movement and sharpness far more than anyone else in the draw.
I meant the way he was playing, more varied and more aggressive. I think he tried to shorten the points. Part of the UEs were due to that, the other part obviously was due to lack of competition. If his knees don't bother him much, we could be in for a couple of platinum years (banking on Tsonga being more competitive as well).

But no athlete had the year Novak Djokovic had. No athlete was as consistently superb, January through November. No athlete was as complete in all the aspects of his or her game (...) the best on all surfaces: indoors and out, hardcourt, clay, and grass. No athlete, week in and week out, faced the level of competition he did: men’s professional tennis, as gets said at the start of every big televised match—because it’s true—is in a golden age. (...) And while Federer had some year (2006), he accumulated only about half the A.T.P. point total Djokovic just amassed.

Welcome back Nadal. This will stop Mugrays attempts of GS final emberassments, and Olderer hopes for another GS.

One of the most hilarious matches i have ever seen, beside that Ferrer - Mugro AO match.

What about Nadal vs Golubev USO R1? He had something like 5-2, 40-00 and and 5-3 40-15 in first and second sets and still lost in straights
