All of those can be teach without inveting myths and causing opression and hate.

Same principle. Sports stars who go round saying 'God won me this' 'it was God who carried me over the line' that shit needs to stop.

Except some people actually believe that.

What about a regular person who believes that God gave him/her the ability to achieve a piece of success? That needs to stop just because you don't believe??

Federer will win another grand slam.
Cilic is not a one slam wonder.

They can believe that, sure- but when they continue going on and on and on about it every time they win something it gets tedious. Chang was the worst.

it's the worst thing........like the God(doesnt exist) roots for a single team or a player........very arrogant statement if you think about it....they always mention God when they are winning........you never hear some mug saying God made me double fault on a MP.....he tripped me in the end zone

Murray should thank Aeolus for his slam. And he never does

They should try playing tennis in the stratospheres, ears popping an' all. Settle the true Spartan kings.

Re: Were the 2012 GS winners the luckiest in the Open Era?

A player who's already been in 4 slam finals with multiple wins over his main rivals is not "lucky" finally to win a slam. You might as well say Lendl was lucky to win R.G. 1984. He needed something to go his way & he duly benefited from a McEnroe choke, but if anything he was unlucky to have to contest slam finals against Borg, Wilander, Connors, & McEnroe in the 1st place, just as Murray was unlucky to have Fed & Djoker in his first 5 finals. It's been said before but bears repeating: Fed had Flip, Rafa Puerta, Djoker Tsonga in their first finals.

"There is no such thing as 'the world'." - Enoch Powell.

Mugray lucked his way to a US Open fluke win.

Mugray will NEVER win a legitimate slam again.
