Brazil 2 x 2 USA.

Thiago Alves will decide in the 5th match against Querrey.

Epic win for Bellucci!

Isner looks a bit injured.
Doubles team of Brazil made this match possible.

Its really to bad that Brazil doesnt have a strong second player because while this is a great win querrey is not losing to alves

Only way Alves beats Querrey is if Sam gets injured. Just don't see it happening.

Good job by Brazil to fight back though. This tie was pretty much lost the moment Bellucci lost to Querrey though

Re: Davis Cup R1: Bellucci (BRA) def. Isner (USA) 2-6 6-4 6-7(7) 6-4 6-3

I thought Bellucci would be tough for a rusty John. John had his chances in the 4th and 5th sets to break serve, but Bellucci dug deep and ran Isner around the court in the last two sets, tiring him out. John could barely move by the middle of the 5th set. Bellucci did a good job of holding his nerves after wasting a few break points at 4-3 in the fifth.

I think Querrey will win, but anything is possible at this point

So we ( Serbia ) will play either with USA or Brazil.

I thought that USA will win but now anything is possible

Go Brazil!

“Does Djokovic resemble myself?” Agassi said. “No, he is even better. He defends really well, while I struggled more in that element of the game. Novak looks totally relaxed when defending, completely calm and the quality of his return is incredible. He is also extremely flexible in his game, which is facilitated by his ability to anticipate his rival’s moves. That is why I think he is a much more versatile player than I was and he is also much more athletic.”
