Peak Federer is probably the highest level of tennis I have ever seen- an almost stratospheric level of play. Whilst Nole is a beast of a player in his own right, I think he'd find himself on the back foot a hell of a lot if he came up against a prime form of Roger.

Peak vs Peak it's close, though Federer was the player who could play his best level most consistently. What he did from 2004 to 2007 was unreal. Nobody ever came close to such domination in a long period of time.

Nadal's peak owns Noserer's peak on clay.

Peak Eggovic 2.0 lost many times to Olderer. He would be lucky not to get bageled against Peakerer.

Of course. In addition to the bad match-up, Nadal is/was a superior claycourter. In fact, I bet only one name will come up if you ask any tennis fan, which player you consider on par or superior to Nadal on clay. And it ain't gonna be Federer, I assure you.

The problem Nole would have against a prime form of Fed is mostly the match-up- Olderer form had match points against him in New York and beat him in RG because his variety gives Nole trouble. The old form of Fed possessed not only the serve and the variety, but probably the best forehand I've ever seen and the ability to just destroy opposition off the bat.

Murray can count himself quite lucky he's playing now and not when Roger was peaking cause I think he'd absolutely pulverise Andy across the board.

Nole, would play more agressive against that Fed, like he did in Montreal and the first 2 sets of the Uso final (both in 2007). Fed would still win more than Nole. But matches would be close, except on grass were Nole wouldn't stand a chance.

Peak Fed is a myth. He was arguably the best player ever in his peak. But if you think he would lose only to Nadal on clay and not 1 more match or if you think 2011 Novak would be Slamless, think again. If you ask 'would Fed have more Slams than Novak' - yes. Would Novak still grab a decent number of Slams - yes.
