Re: Murray's constant swearing on court

A) He swears in English. More detectable for an global audience.

B) As a gold medal winning grand slam champion OBE, his matches are shown on TV more frequently than even other member of the top 10, let alone lower ranked players. He takes the flack for what most other players do just because he is better than them.

Re: Murray's constant swearing on court

I love how picky people are with players' behaviour on court, especially if they dislike them. Nobody is going to act perfectly every time they step out on a tennis court and if they did, how boring would that be? It's just your everyday Scotsman releasing some steam... I find it bloody hilarious tbh...

Re: Murray's constant swearing on court

I suppose he should be shouting stuff like "How could you do that old chap?!?" and "I say! How could that have been out???"...

"To be honest, I think bananas are a pathetic fruit."
"Well, I can update you - if I mush it up and put it on a bagel, it's fine! I guess it must be the consistency."

You should hear what Nole say. Luckily for him, he swears in Serbian.

I don't like Nadal.

True that, no restraint there once he flies off the handle.

By the way, what did he say during that outburst in the AO final? I think it was at the end of the 1st set or the start of the 2nd. He was raging!

Re: Murray's constant swearing on court

Are you really that offended by a couple of swear words OP?

Personally I find it quite funny. A personal favourite was after double faulting in the US open final Murray shouts at himself 'take your time you dick!'

Re: Murray's constant swearing on court

I find it rather amusing than offensive, as long as he swears and yells at himself, not at someone else.
