Djokovic now has 6 slams. 4 AOs, 1 Wimbledon and 1 US Open.
Becker has 6 slams. 2 AOs, 3 Wimbledon and 1 US Open.
Edberg has 6 slams. 2 AOs, 2 Wimbledon and 2 US Open.

Djokovic has 2 YEC, Becker 3 YEC and Edberg 1 YEC.

Djokovic has 11 TMS, Becker 11 too and Edberg 5 (albeit I'm counting GP series that became Masters in 1990)

Djokovic has 65 weeks at #1, Becker 12 weeks and Edberg 72 weeks.

Has Nole surpassed either, both or neither?

I think he needs to win one more Wimbledon or one French Open to surpass them.
Because Becker and Edberg both won RG, right?

yes he did. end 80s and 90s are much weaker than today tennis

we live in Golden era of tennis.

Bullshit. In order to win his 1st slam Edberg had to beat legends like Lendl ( #1 then ) and Wilander.( # 3 ) Djoko beat mono - Fed and Tsonga. On way to his last slam title Edberg had to beat Lendl, Chang and Sampras. Djokovic beat Ferrer and Murka.

Edberg and Becker had to deal with few generations of different superstars with very different playing styles :Connors,Lendl, McEnroe,Wilander,Courier,Sampras,Agassi not to mention Chang, Stich, Cash,Ivanisevic.Plus - they had to beat each other , which was tough task itself.

Djokovic right now has only declining 31 y.o. Fed and not so brilliant Murray as serious opponents. Even Nadal is conveniently out of picture for some time now.To say this grinding between 2 quite boring baseliners is golden era of tennis is a huge mistake.Maybe Ferrer as permanent slam semifinalist is sign of Golden era also ?

If everything stays like this, tournament wise, statistics is close in some terms...but,the thing we know is that in time some Novak stats will get better...

I mean,Edberg has 72 weeks at number 1,Djokovic still has 65,but he is guaranteed number 1 spot for few months,at least, which means that he will surely surpass Edberg in that term, while in other stats he is even or better then those two...

Other things is that they all have one Slam missing(RG),while Becker and Edberg won more times "unofficially" most prestigious tournament-Wimbledon,which in some people's mind have more value then AO for example...

Yes. I believe that too. Not only for the weeks as number one and other titles mentioned before. Djokovic has still the potential to win other Grand Slam titles and will see what happens with Nadal but right now he looks like the favourite this year to win the French Open too.

eclipsevic has done it.

Based on what?

The only thing Becker and Edberg still have over Djokovic is career titles(Becker 49,Edberg 42 and Novak still 35),but Novak hasn't ended his career yet...

Apart from that and the same number of GS titles Novak is better in almost every stat including weeks as number 1,win/loss % or number of TMS titles...

It´s pretty close at the monment, but the whole comparison is pretty pointless, because it´s only a matter of time until Djokovic clearly passes them both, anyway. And it´s most likely going to happen this year. And this is coming from a huge fan of Edberg.
