Boris was in 7 Wimbledon finals (3 titles). Won first two titles when he was 17 and 18. Edberg dominates the World of tennis in the same period. Edberg had 3 finals (2 titles) at Wimbledon and one final ar RG, dominated the World of tennis in the same period. How you can compare them?

It's not hard to know who is bigger. Just listen tennis commentators and experts.
Nole can surpass them easy.

Ivanisevic is better than Djokovic. Roddick is better than Djokovic. And Pat Cash and Krajicek are at the same level that Djokovic is.
Of course: which is why so many players have done it. So easy...

Not to say he's halfway to his career! When Nole's career is over he will be in the same tier than Agassi, Lendl, McEnroe and Connors, easily. And most probably in the same tier than Nadal is now, Bjorg, Tilden or Laver.

Novak Djokovic nº1!

The Golden Era of Novak: Australian Open * Dubai * Indian Wells * Miami * Belgrade * Madrid * Rome * Wimbledon * Montreal * US Open * Abu Dhabi * Australian Open * Miami * Toronto * China * Shanghai * World Tour Finals 2012 * Australian Open 2013 * Dubai * Montecarlo * Beijing * Shanghai * Paris * WTF * Indian Wells * Miami * Rome * WIMBLEDON 2014 * AUSSIE OPEN 2015
Federer to Nole: "Amazing year. Amazing tournament. Amazing match. You are THE BEST!"

Nothing worse than someone who uses statistics without context to support a POV they don't understand.

The nature of the tour has changed significantly, a lot of records aren't really comparable between eras. Djokovic getting the same slam counts as Becker and Edberg is meaningless because it was much harder to dominate in their day. Just because strings, balls, surfaces have made upsets much less likely doesn't mean that modern players are better than past players.
I take it you think the WTA is currently in a golden era. In the last few years, the winner of a slam almost always lost in the first round of the next one. Pretty fantastic stuff!

He did but both Becker and Edberg were known for theirs volleying skills more than anything. That's something we miss these days.

Grand Slam Season as of 2008:

Australian Open
Roland Garros
JOKE SLAM
U.S. Open
