my guess is, taking everything into account:

RG: Nadal
W: Murray
USO: Djokovic

But then again, it's impossible to know how Rafa's going to come back. If he gets to 80% of his capabilities, he should win all 3
80% of his capabilities will never be enough for US Open, I can't see him serving ever again the way he did in New York in 2010.

Maybe...

But in the unlikely event that he actually wins the CYGS, I can predict that there will be a thread here explaining why a CYGS is not really all that great of an achievement. How it has lost its prestige and nobody really cares about it.

Re: Will Djokovic win the CYGS in 2013?

Novak made 61 errors today at his favourite slam. He nearly lost to Wawrinka in R4. Murray did not capitalise on his chances. The fact is that Novak wasn't brilliant in this Australian Open and certainly did not look unbeatable. There will be even more contendors at RG (Tsonga nearly beat him last year!) and Wimbledon.

So all in all, no. He won't win it. I think it's more likely we get 4 different winners again e.g. RG - Nadal; Wimbledon - Murray; USO - Del Potro, than have Novak win all 4.

Re: Will Djokovic win the CYGS in 2013?

61 error is a lot of errors, but he hit 47 winners past Murray. 61 error was the price for so many winners. Roger Federer for example had 43 winners against Murray in 5 sets.

I don't like Nadal.

If it makes you feel better the CYGS was always a joke since Laver won on grass and clay. Even if he wins though, it will be nowhere near Fed's record of W-F-W-W for 2 years. Even one of those years is superior to both Fakervic's hypothetical CYGS and Laver's overrated record, since in 2006/2007 there were actual surface differences and surface specialists.
