Nole's extra day was pretty much a practice session. Vulture rolled over like a pet shih-tzu.

A 90 minute gentle warmup against someone who offers no threat like Ferrer hardly matters. Djokovic would use more energy in practice normally.

Murray actually had much more taken out of him - he had 4 hours the previous round against Berdych, 3hrs vs Cilic, and 4hrs vs Lopez. Djokovic had walkovers against Lorenzi and Dutra, same against an injured Benneteau, then Wawrinka retired. Only even slightly tricky one was 3hrs vs Del Potro.

The hatred for Murray is ridiculous. Just proves how good Murray is now that many, many threadson here are dedicated to him, just to have a dig.

Re: Is Murrays 2012 US Open final victory over Novak starting to look like an anomaly

Although obviously completely absurd, this thread is at least good to weed out the hypocrites on this forum ie people who will bash this thread but agree with this one started by the very same OP (or the other way round): Is Del Potros 2009 US OPEN title starting to look like a bit of a fluke?

MTF games titles:

Suicide Tennis (5): Wimbledon 2014, World Tour Finals 2015, Madrid 2015, Kuala Lumpur 2014 and Metz 2015 - 1 Slam, 1 WTF, 1 Masters 1000, 2 ATP 250; 2 finals lost

Fill-in-the-Draw (3): US Open 2014, Rotterdam 2013 and Geneva 2015 - 1 Slam, 1 ATP 500 and 1 ATP 250

Tennis Tipping (3): Veneza and Todi 2014 (with vn01), Knoxville 2015 (with Redkop) - 3 challengers; 7 finals lost

Missing the point. Murray is better in the wind. Murray will beat him in the wind. It's no secret. Ferrer almost beat Nole in the wind.

The point is that those wind speeds aren't normal for tennis, so it was an anomaly.
