Too bad the match ended the way it did with Nole winning by an injury to Andy, never want to see that in a final, if Andy's foot was fine the outcome could have been very different, an asterisk major for Nole.

It's amazing how Nadal and Djokovic won their finals in 2009 and 2012. Murray was already done here in the 3rd after the 4 hour semi.

“Does Djokovic resemble myself?” Agassi said. “No, he is even better. He defends really well, while I struggled more in that element of the game. Novak looks totally relaxed when defending, completely calm and the quality of his return is incredible. He is also extremely flexible in his game, which is facilitated by his ability to anticipate his rival’s moves. That is why I think he is a much more versatile player than I was and he is also much more athletic.”

you coulda merged the threads >

not the nicest of matches, and a very small * to this one, because of Andy's obvious problems with a blister or hamstring.

on the other hand, the principal point of interest here is... who was the chick in the box !?

A forgettable 1st two sets by both. Novak was leaking errors and Murray was doing absolutely nothing with the ball. In all honesty, he didn't HAVE to do anything. Novak was horrible and Murray just kept the ball in play. Both had chances in each set that they lost, but managed to keep their opponent at bay.

Novak really loosened up in the 3rd set and his shots had much more depth and conviction. That caused Murray to become rattled and started to make more errors than usual.

4th set was just one-way traffic.

6th overall Major for Novak: Australian Open (2008, 2011-2013), Wimbledon (2011) & U.S. Open (2011)

The only reason the 3rd and 4th sets were like that was because Murray's movement deteriorated alot.

that is nothing many tennis player have this kind of things on foots and they won matches.

I didnt see that Murray slowed down because of that.
