Re: AO SF: Murray beats Federer 6-4 6-7(5) 6-3 6-7(2) 6-2

Murray played really well during most of the match, served hugely and is finding a good range of agression on his FH that he didn't have before. Well done

And for the Old Man, the fact that he took this to 5 is a testament to his greatness, he was physically spent in the 5th set but still did an admirable effort against a rival that did not give anything easily, he served awfully during a couple of sets but his fight in the TBs was amazing, I'm actually proud of him.

Oh and BTW I'm currently on Twitter jail for those who follow me so I can't answer

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

Should never have gone 5 sets. Hopefully Our Hero has plenty left to face Novak.

Murray's draw got him to the final
Yeah, playing Federer in the semis was such a smooth ride compared to getting Ferrer...

Eventually some of you utter dongs are gonna have to grow up and accept Murray's brilliance. And look at all those winners - the 'pusher' hit so many more than the great man!

Murray could have ended that sooner but I'm glad he won it in the end, nice for him to get a win over Federer in a major finally. Hopefully the final's a good one.

I support a lot of mugs.

Murray. Three consecutive slam finals, and two consecutive wins over Federer in a best of five match. Now can he be a big 4 guy?

So now you'd better stop and rebuild all your ruins...
For peace and trust can win the day despite of all your losing.

Some big problems for Federer, he needs to resolve these soon.
I'm not sure if can improve his fitness, he is already 31..and had a long match with Tsonga, the run out was expected

Re: AO SF: Murray beats Federer 6-4 6-7(5) 6-3 6-7(2) 6-2

Pretty low quality match from both, but Federer was obviously the weaker player today.

Murray wasn't brilliant, but inside-out forehand and first serve were working extremely well.
Federer was just non-existent for most of the match. The FH looked terrible and it seems he was really tired :\

Well done Andy! Win the title!!!

Re: AO SF: Murray beats Federer 6-4 6-7(5) 6-3 6-7(2) 6-2

Better player won today. Murray served insanely first two sets and Fed succeeded to steal one set. After Murray got away little but Fed just didn't have enough in tank to turn the match in his favor like he did in Wimby.

Only thing which Fed fan can regret from this AO is being so unlucky with the draw.

As for the final. If Murray serves like he served in first two sets has a good chance to win it just don't see this happening. Nole should prevail in this heavy conditions

This match shows that prime Fed would wipe the floor with Mugray and Fakervic who have emerged in the holes left by Federer and now Nadal. what a bunch of mugs, we'll look back at them the way we look back at Hewitt, Roddick, Johannsen, and Gaudio. Vulture mugs.

I don't remember Fed playing this bad in a slam for a long long time... and still made it competitive...
