I believe the Ferrer match was played on a different day than the Murray/Djokovic match. And I believe that Murray/Djokovic were all square heading into a 5th set which Murray won in the same conditions as Djokovic.
It's amazing the lengths that people will go to not give Andy Murray any credit for winning a slam over the best player in the world. Some don't even want to give him a chance in two days when he's clearly got a very good one if he plays this kind of aggressive tennis.
