lol yeah right. It's the same kinda thing as this week.

Milos will likely win both singles. Frank/Vasek/Jesse will have 2 shots to take one of their matches. Frank beat Granollers this week, he could beat Fognini like that too.

We're at home, so the Hard coirt will help.

Oh and we'd be favorites in the doubles against Bolelli/Fognini on hard court.

Your pessimism is getting worse

We're not discussing who the favorites are, we're discussing whether Canada has a real shot. When all you need is Raonic to beat two inferior players and get one win in any of the other three matches, this isn't even something that's up for debate. It's a far better draw than what it could have been, that's for damn sure. Please don't spread your ceaseless pessimism here, especially when it doesn't even make sense.

He's right. It's no different at all really from this week (which, BTW, they just won). But keep up the negativity.

Re: 2013 Live Commentary

We can beat Italy. I can see either Vasek, Jesse or Frank beating their no.2 at home. Milos can beat any of their players. Heck, even Vasek beat Seppi at Rogers Cup last year. We have a very good chance to beat them.

Re: 2013 Live Commentary

Alves has a big serve (impressive given his height) and nice forehand. Why is he so low ranked?

No question about it. As long as Milos plays like he can, they have a very good one.

Classy! We all know if Spain had their top horses here this could be quite different but Canada seized the opportunity and have a very realistic shot at home again versus Italy. It will be interesting...
