Re: 2013 Live Commentary

I've seen Viola play like once and I can still ascertain he is a huge choker from the scoreboard- I don't think I have ever seen him serve the match out first try

Re: 2013 Live Commentary

They went with Fognini.

The worst option in my opinion. He has lost both their previous encounters, and has struggled all year.

*They have only met once...

it's not just that, he hasn't been training this week, barely made it to the doubles match after two days with a cold + fever... definitely the worst option considering how well Bolelli played yesterday and Lorenzi's toughness.

Lorenzi even has a 2-0 H2H. Hasn't dropped a set to Dodig. Strange decision, and I think it may cost you the tie.

Re: 2013 Live Commentary

Lol, Zimonjic playing in singles and S&V on that mud

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Lorenzi's mental mediocrity (thereby making him by far the best choice for the team) and Dodig's match up issues with someone like him would have made him my choice also. Probably Bolelli second. Hope Fognini assured the coach he was totally fit, I played with a bit of a fever once and after 10 minutes realized what a horrible idea it was

Re: 2013 Live Commentary

Dodig starting pretty woefully with a poor approach and a double fault

Agreed.

Decent start from Fogna though...

Re: 2013 Live Commentary

Wow, maybe the captain knew what he was doing if that is Fognini's forehand today

Re: 2013 Live Commentary

All of you who whine about not being able to watch serve&volley, go watch Zimonjic play singles.

Djokovic | Tipsarevic | Querrey
