Fact is, over a ten year career like Dancevic's, if he was really capable of this god-like tennis that you claim he is, he would have beaten better players than you've mentioned. I just don't see it.
+1.

He took a set of Nadal because he played 1 really super good return game. Baby Dimitrov also took a set of Nadal a couple of years back, so is that really that impressive?

All the player in the top 500 can play 1 great match a season, it's just the World Top that plays consistently to be named elite. The stuff that seperates the men from the boys.

That's exaclty what I'm saying about Frank.

He's capable of this level but only once every blue moon. I'm not calling him Federer. I'm sayiong when he's on he can play outstanding tennis it just almost never happens

But that's applicable to every aggressive player on tour, so I don't see how it makes Dancevic special in any way?

It doesn't. When did I say it did?

All I ever said was even if Almagro played this tie Frank still wins.

The guy's a massive headcase underachiever with major talent. It's nothing that unusual in the world of tennis.

All credit to him for keeping it together today, though.

Re: 2013 Live Commentary

Chiudinelli is playing great so far. Wawrinka has made some nice volleys, but seems to struggle on return.

Re: 2013 Live Commentary

Swiss broken. Rosol got under Wawrinka's skin at deuce serve. He started jumping around just as Wawrinka prepared to serve. Wawrinka stopped once, started to serve again, and Rosol started jumping back and forth again. Wawrinkas stopped again and told Rosol in no uncertain terms to stand still. Nadal isn't the only one irritated by Rosol's tactics.

Re: 2013 Live Commentary

Swiss take first blood in the second set as Rosol is broken after Rosol double faults to break point and then Berdych buries a high volley into the net.

Re: 2013 Live Commentary

Czech Republic break right back on Wawrinka's serve with a fine Berdych chip return just over the net that Wawrinka can't get to.

Re: 2013 Live Commentary

Wawrinka's Fh return is atrocious. Shank, shank, bottom of the net!

Re: 2013 Live Commentary

1 set-all !

Does Chiudinelli have a problem with his wrist ? he shook his hand like that at one moment but I look at the match in Czech then didn't know what happened.

Chiudinelli plays very well so far, Stan needs to relax although the return has never been his best shot, and the volley either.
